The book also includes a checklist of Deborah Brown's works, running to nearly 400 items.
Hilary Pyle is one of Ireland's leading authorities on Irish art, and the author/editor of numerous books including: The Sligo-Leitrim world of Kate Cullen 1832–1913: a 19th-century memoir revealed (Woodfield Press, 1997); Jack B. Yeats: a biography (Carlton Books, 1997) and The different worlds of Jack B. Yeats: his cartoons and illustrations (IAP, 1994).
